MOTORS MBB SERIE
 
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The permanent magnet synch ronous brushless motors, together with their companion electronic drives, are the typical servosystem for automations that require high accellerations and speeds stability, constant torque and overload capacity at every speed (from zero to the max speed).
They are specifically used in the applications bounded to one or more of the following services or operating conditions:
  • high torque combined with low rotor inertia moment for quick accellerations/decelerations;
  • wide speed range of operation with constant speed even at very low speed values;
  • frequent start/stop operations;
  • bad environment conditions (presence of dust and/or liquids that require the IP 65 motor protection class) and poor maintenance capability.

The MBB series brushless motors are composer of the following main parts:
  • case made of extruded aluminium;
  • rotor equipped with rare earths-permanenet magnets, Ni-Cr stell shaft and reinforced lubrification-free ball bearings;
  • stator with low losses and threephase windings with class H insulation;
  • resolver (sinusoidal) for the rotor position and speed detection;
  • thermal sensor incorporated in the cools;
  • standstill/emergency brake (on request), permanent-magnet type, 24V d.c. supply voltage.
The MBB series of motors covers the range of torque (at zero-speed) from 0.6 Nm to 75 Nm. All the motors are available for 220 or 380V supply voltage.

Machine tool - Texile machine - Machine for wood, glass, iron working - Packing system - Transfer Lines - Robotics, etc.
